How to become a volunteer
Everyone who serves at Moore Faith is a volunteer. We have approximately 80 medical and non-medical staff who volunteer on a weekly, monthly or quarterly rotation. Our teams include:
Medical Providers (MD, DO, NP, PA)
Residents, Medical students under direct supervision
Nurses, CNAs, MAs
Pharmacists, Pharmacy Techs
Medical Reception
Chaplains
Security
Case Management
Diabetic coaching, Nutritionists
Meal providers for our volunteers
Medical Records clerks
Translators (primarily Spanish and Vietnamese, others as needed)
Medical Equipment specialists (for equipment that is donated to us so we can “pay it forward”)
Future: Dental specialists, Eye care specialists

Note: We conduct background checks on all our volunteers.

Even though this is an all-volunteer ministry, it still takes lots of funding in order to provide quality healthcare for our neighbors. In 2021, the average cost of a patient treated at MFMC was $28.00. Compare this to the average cost of an E.R. visit at $1998.00. We believe this is very good stewardship and an excellent return on investment.
